About the Steamboat Dance Theatre Annual Concert

From beginners to advanced dancers, there is something for everyone. This is a great opportunity to experience a full production dance ensemble from start to finish.  Whether you are new to dance or a long time student of dance you will enjoy the complete experience offered by the Steamboat Dance Theatre.

Each piece practices 1 night a week. Dance rehearsals usually begin in October or November. Each week you rehearse and learn the necessary choreography. Then, in about 16-18 rehearsals you should be prepared for the final rehearsal week and ultimately... the final performance open to the public from March 5th-7th 2009!

Please be aware that there is a rigorous nightly commitment the final week before the show! This may require shifting work schedules, babysitter schedules and more. Knowing these commitments in advance will help you plan for a seemless final rehearsal schedule that will get you ready for Opening Night!
