We are very excited to announce the formation of a Fundraising Committee for the Steamboat Dance Theatre.  The Fundraising Committee will be chaired by Julie Tucek and will be having its introductory meeting at Rex’s on Wednesday, December 3 at 12:00 noon for lunch.  This is an excellent way to become a little bit more involved and also help ensure the long-term viability of our organization for years to come. 

We all enjoy participating in the concert, but our organization needs to step up our fundraising efforts in order to be able to continue putting on such a great event for the community, as well as to be able to achieve our three-tiered mission of Community Enrichment, Scholarship and School Outreach.

We already have some really great ideas on the board for potential fundraising events in the spring and summer of 2009, but we will only be successful with participation and help from you!  It can be as large or as small of a time commitment as you are able to make.  It is going to be a very fun, rewarding and fulfilling way to get involved in the community and Steamboat Dance Theatre.
